Brian Braudis’ 1-Minute Morning Memo: January 30, 2017 – Resourcefulness

Resourcefulness is interpreted broadly as your ability to access, build and cultivate what is necessary to win. Athletes continually use inventive ways to train beyond the status quo. They know status quo begets status quo.

Innovative efforts, i.e., resourcefulness usually deliver leading-edge results. The same goes for your efforts as an entrepreneur, leader, team member, community member, parent, etc.………

Feeling stuck points to lack or missing Resourcefulness:

  • This is not where I planned on being at my age.
  • I start my day off strong; ready to change the world but my strength and resolve dwindles and I run out of energy too quickly.
  • Happiness and fulfillment is temporary… too short lived.

Th ability to be resourceful can compensate for a lack of external resources. We see this all the time. People who have nothing build & cultivate what is necessary to become successful. It’s in the news almost daily how homeless teens get into Harvard, Yale, etc…………

Those who remain stuck simply don’t believe in themselves enough to make the effort. They are no less resourceful. Their genius is still there. It remains dormant. That’s a shame because we need all the genius we can get right now!

Your resourcefulness determines your success more so than your resources.
