Brian Braudis’ 1-Minute Morning Memo: May 29, 2017 – Memorial Day

Leaders Freedom Responsibility

What began as several informal remembrances of those killed in the Civil War has grown to become one of the nation’s most solemn and hallowed holidays, Memorial Day.  It serves as a reminder that Leaders Freedom Responsibility are all closely linked and related. We accept the Leadership Responsibility that comes with the Freedom we enjoy.

The Presidential Proclamation prompts us to remember the fallen, pray for lasting peace and honor the guardians of our inalienable rights.

Our esteemed soldiers are a product of the world for which we owe gratitude and honor.

There is no greater expression of honor than through Self.

  • As we honor soldiers let’s not forget the families that gave us the soldiers.
  • Don’t judge and denigrate the other political party for all of Government gave us the military.
  • When someone has a different view, rubs you wrong or judges you, deescalate. We are stronger together.

The man who is closely linked to Memorial Day said it best. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

Let us show gratitude and honor by accepting the responsibility to become the person we are meant to be.

The price of greatness is responsibility. Winston Churchill
